In First Nations culture children are very important and are a gift from the creator. We should always treat children with upmost respect and love. 
"Wolf Spirit" The wolf can be heard communicating in the darkness of the northern forest and sky. 
"My Brother the Bear" The bear represents wisdom and is treated with respect by First Nations Culture. 
"Eagle Spirit" The eagle is the messenger in First Nations culture. It takes our prayer's to the Great Spirit. 
"Prayer to the Creator" Man and nature along with the creatures of this world are one. Without one the other cannot survive. Christian Art In January 2002, IMCF commissioned the Cree artist Ovide Bighetty to create a series of paintings portraying the Easter Story. Through seventeen scenes, Kisemanito Pakitinasuwin (The Creator's Sacrifice) presents the events in Christ's life from the Last Supper through his resurrection. Each painting is done in a style that Ovide Bighetty describes as 'Woodland Cree'. Through the use of aboriginal imagery and symbols, these paintings present the truth of the sacrifice of Christ the Creator. Some previews of the paintings are presented below.
