Mi Sheberach Group does not post every announcement. It does not even post every "important" announcement. There are other announcement groups in our series, and you are welcome to choose the one that is most appropriate for your needs.

As the Topics page implies, the following items are specifically excluded:

  • Political issues. They belong on our Israeli Politics forum.
  • Announcements that are not related to current specific Jewish health issues. No, our Jewish Groups series does not have a general announcements board, and no such group is currently being planned.
  • Queries about health-related issues. Mi Sheberach asks for G-d's intervention in these areas, but we do not discuss the issues themselves.
  • Announcements about good news - weddings, birthdays, and the like - are posted to the Jewish Geography group.
  • Discussions. Mi Sheberach is an announcement group.

We also do not allow chain letters on Mi Sheberach. Do not send messages that have been passed from another source (you can tell by the > symbols on the e-mail).
