As its name implies, the Mi Sheberach forum notifies its subscribers about sick or injured Jews around the world who are in need of Tehillim or a Mi Sheberach. By joining the group, you show your support for Jews in need. They cannot beg for help - so the Mi Sheberach group gets the message out for them.
It is also for a call for specific types of blood or for blood marrow testing or typing for Jewish patients.
You can announce the name of someone in need of a Mi Sheberach or Tehillim? After joining Mi Sheberach, send the person's Hebrew given name, ben (for a male) or bat (for a female), and the mother's Hebrew name, to [email protected]. The information will be distributed to the entire group.
Mi Sheberach is also the place to send Hebrew names of the hurt or wounded in terrorist or antisemitic incidents. The worldwide Jewish community will then pray for the health of these people.
