Parenting is becoming more and more of a science, as parents try to perform the task with less available time. It has been the subject of books, courses, and workshops.

Jewish Parenting deals with various relationships:

  1. Between Jewish parents and their children
  2. Between Jewish parents and others
  3. Between the Jewish parent in the larger society

Other resources may discuss the effects of single family parents and dysfunctional families, families in which both parents work, and efforts to accomplish more in less time.

Jewish Parenting, on the other hand, focuses on issues from a Jewish point of view. Judaism does indeed offer a wealth of guidelines on the topic. We consult with other Jewish parents around the world about how to deal with difficult issues.
