Bantry is one of the major towns in West Cork. It is a very scenic town which also has a lot of history to it.
Some of the main attractions to the area are Bantry House and the Bay which is one of the deepest natural bays in Europe. Bantry House (shown here) is located on the way in to Bantry from the main Cork to Bantry road. The House itself overlooks Bantry Bay and was built in 1750 and was the home of the Earl of Bantry.
