We believe that teaching Chinese is a real profession

We are proud to be the only Chinese school in Ottawa
to have all professional Chinese language teachers.
| Ms. T. Xu: BA & MA in Chinese (Renmin University of China); 9 years of full time Chinese language teaching in both Canada and the US. She has a �can do?approach to any learners; her energy and sense of humour help her students feel at ease in Chinese. You can easily find her classroom by following the laughter. Her publications include 5 books published in China as well as 2 sets of Chinese language textbooks used at the University of Ottawa and the government intensive language training program. |

Mr. J. Wang: BA & MA in Chinese (Peking University), 12 years of full time teaching experience in the field of Chinese language and culture. His publications include over 10 books on Chinese literature and culture published in both Taiwan and China. He is a devoted, extremely patient and dynamic teacher with a high capacity to adapt. He is also extremely knowledgeable about Chinese culture and society and enjoys keeping up with everything that is going on in the world. |
| Dr. F. Xu: BA in English, MA in education, and Ph.D. in applied linguistics (University of Ottawa), 12 years of full time teaching experience. Dr. Xu has done extensive research in the field of applied linguistics, shows lots of professionalism at work, and makes leaning a fun and enriching experience. She appreciates students who are curious, motivated and active in their learning. Dr. Xu is seen as an "exemplary" teacher and an outstanding representative of everything that is best in the teaching profession. |

Ms. Janice Wong: holding a B. Ed in ESL from University of Ottawa and a BA in English from Carleton University, joined the OCLCC nearly two years ago. Over this time she has demonstrated a teaching style that has been rated as ��totally inspirational��. Learning with her, it is a totally stimulating experience. Janice is viewed as a powerful member of the team who has been engrossed in introducing students to her subject �C about which she completely passionate �C for twenty years.. |
