Japanese Seiyuu: Akiko Nakagawa (Miss Goldenweek in "One Piece," Anne in "Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar," Miyuki Nanase in "Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo." )
English Voice: Saffron Henderson (Lucrezia Noin in "Gundam Wing," Bloodberry in "Saber Marionette J," Tsubasa in "Ranma 1/2," Gohan in the first two seasons of "Dragon Ball Z")
Family:
Mother (Mama to both Kagome and him) ,Grandfather (The family refers to him as Jii-chan, and it's not known whether he is paternal or maternal.), Older sister (Fifteen) Higurashi Kagome, and their obese pet cat Buyo. (Souta and Kagome's father is no longer around and is most likely deceased due to the way Kagome's mother speaks of him when she does.)
Age: He's said to be in third grade elementary school, so he's either eight or nine.
Hobbies: Soccer is the only officially listed hobby for him.
Personality: Souta is a pretty precocious child, and seems to be fairly observant. (Especially regarding Kagome and InuYasha.) He's enthusiastic and very inquisitive. Souta is a well rounded and intelligent child, with normal hobbies, normal interests… he just happens to also be the kind of boy who seems to look for oddities and unique things and declare them as "cool." (Although he has a similar view as Kagome regarding the stories and "legendary" or "magical" items their grandfather gives them. Souta doesn't seem to buy it a lot of the time either, however he seems to be a bit more inclined to believe him than Kagome is. ) He has a strong tendency to resort to hero worship. (As is clearly displayed with InuYasha. See the Relationships section for more on that.) This is likely due to his lack of a male figure to look up to. (It's fair to assume he lost his father when very young, and Kagome is the only other child in the family.)
