Hey Everyone. I hope you all have enjoyed celebrating the Lord's birth as we have. Man, time off school is good fun. The band hasn't done anything since the Pit show. Jenny went to Pennsylvania and is leaving all sorts of crazy messages on the forum. John was going to go snowboarding with Adam Massie from Virginia but there wasn't enough snow. Rachel ended up going to California. Thier dad planned a secret trip for them there. All I know is that they get to see the Supertones in Orange County. Harry, and Baron are here. Today Adam leaves to go on his Crysylis flight. Everyone have a fun and safe holiday season and have a Happy New Year. |

Well, we got the Flash site underway. Sadly, Dane is no longer in the band. I am not going to explain the circumstances unless he asks me to do otherwise. I do know one thing, we are gonna miss him. We'll still be praying for him though and hope that you all will do the same. On a lighter note, we got a new song finished that we are going to call "#7" for no apparent reason other than it sounds kinda cool. We should have yet another song done this week that I think we are going to call "Procrastinator." The lyrics to it are really cool. The next song we are going to work on is going to be one of Will's. We are playing a show at The Pit on saturday and will more than likely have a 9 song set. Just be praying that the turnout is good so we can be a great outreach. We are opening for a secular band called Sense of Vision. I'm hoping that the show goes well. Luke McGee is probably going to be our new guitarist, and will be playing with us at The Pit on saturday. Luke is an awesome guy and although we are really upset about Dane, we feel that God has given us Luke to take his place. The show on Friday was kind of funny to tell you the truth. Rachel had strep throat and bronchitis so her voice was completely gone. Jenny filled in for her, but didn't really know how the lyrics went. But considering the circumstances, the show went surprisingly well. Ok that is enough news for now, we'll try to be more punctual with it from now on. Oh ya, let us know what you think of what is finished with the new Flash site! peace in, -John |

Ok, since we haven't posted anything in over a month we give you all the right to punch any one of us in the arm if you tell us why first. But now we have news... Will sold Adam "the skittle" (its his 4rth car in a year and a half.) Well we will have another song finished Sunday. We don't really have a title for ir so it is called #7. It goes like this: la la la la la laaa, la la la la la. Pretty cool huh? sorry about the confussion with the show tommarrow. there is a Kid's Camp reunion so we can't play. Come see us Dec. 14. Check Issue 3 of the Sound to Sea (Manteo High School Newspaper) for a report on all the local bands. Please pray for Baron, John and Adam for guidance on colleges and getting through the tough part of Huddelston's class. |

Oh do we have a treat for you! We are going to be doing fun things at the show tomorrow. You can come and sign up for the mailing list there too if you want. Also, I fixed the mailing list link, so you can sign back up for it if you want. But those arent the fun things. The fun things are yet to come. We may even have a new praise song done! Anyway, I added a Booking link to the misc stuff section, so if you want us to play, just go there and it will let you know what is up. We thought that Dane wasnt going to be able to make it to the show, but it turns out that he is gonna be there. There is free food too! Free Brunswick stew to be exact. If you dont want to come to eat, then be there at around 5:30 or so. We should be playing by then. Hope to see you there! |

WE FINISHED A NEW SONG!! Its called A praise song. Ill try and get the lyrics for it up before the show on the 20th. Ive been meaning to get the lyrics for East From West up for a while, but Huddlestons class has been killing me. We might have 2 shows on November 10th. We have one for sure, but the second one is an if. Im yet to announce the show on the 10th b/c I dont know exactly what time we are playing. Its at K-Mart though and will be in a tent or something like that. Its for Barons church. We might be selling the new patches at the show on the 20th, it just depends on if Rick (the pastor at Nags Head Baptist) says its ok or not. The prices will be as follows: large-$3, medium-$1.5, and small-75. Be praying for the people that are going to attend the show b/c it is gonna be an outreach one. Peace in. |

The band would like to say that we are all praying for the families and those who are involved with the tragedies that occured today. We ask you to do the same. Realize that God will use this to bring people closer to Him so let Him start with you. God Bless. |

Guess what? We actually got some things done at practice today! Despite the fact that 2/3 of our horn section is out of town we did good today. I know you would never expect it but it happened. There is this new program out that you can write songs on and John used it to show us the new song. Its a MIDI file and sounds Seasame Street style but it is really cool. We nailed our old songs and then started A Praise Song (the new song). You should hear it sometime. We have also decided to give Sparticus some more say so in the band stuff so be praying for us please. God Bless.

Okay since every single time we've put up a news letter these crazies in our band have decided to start out with "Hey Everyone" I will not. Anyways, moving along, it's 3 days before the unwelcomed eviction from our precious little lives in which we will be trapsing into the dredded midst of Manteo High. Not only have we discovered that this will limit our time for "practicing & learning," but we will be forced to see eachother every day...j/k. Oh, well. Life goes on. Our band doesn't really have any news that's crutial. Dane has a widow's peak and he gives awesome back massages (this is Jenny speaking, I just wanted you guys to know that this isn't John or Adam speaking about how good of a massage that Dane gives...hee hee, if only you knew our secrets...wait, isn't that against our religion :)) Yes, Yes, Yes, News, News, News, I (being Jenny) am moving to Kill Devil Hills, so as to not be living in Manteo any longer, henceforth the band will use the money being a result of not driving back and forth to Manteo to buy such things as monitors, a PA, a new saxophone (!!!!!!!!!), and of course we are going to buy Harry back from the lease company. La La La. Alright, well I just wanted you to all know that we are still alive and breathing and still "functioning" as a "band."
"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of Heaven and Earth & does not live in temples built by hands. And He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything b/c He himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From man He made every nation of man, that they should inhabit the whole earth and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so men would seek him and perhaps reach out and find Him, THOUGH HE IS NOT FAR FROM EACH OF US. For in Him we live and move and have our being, as some of your own poets have a said WE ARE HIS OFFSPRING!" --Acts 17:24-28

Hey Everyone! This is everyone at this week's practice. The whole 3 of us: Jenny, Rachel, and Adam. Jenny wants to say that we don't have half the band here and if we were Staright and Narrow we would have 2.5 of us. Well, individually and as a band we are doing good. John is getting his senoir photos now, and will be back later. Will has school today but will hopefully show up at anytime. Dane went up to Richmond to visit with his friends from up there. Baron is visting his grandmother today and Harry is in South Carolina at a Blues Travelers' show. He is still for sale by the way! $394.27 its a great deal. I think we will get some more merchandise soon. We are going to put in Jenny's broken tenor sax that she used for the first 4 shows. I think we might all donate something like Rachel's pants and rust from the Adam's car. Our agenda today consisted so far on listening to good jazz music at the church, coming over to John's to update the site and leran some random lines of all sorts. Most of our day has consisted of eating anything we find at John's. Our conclusions are that John's peanut butter has sugar in it and tastes bad while for some reason John always has Miracle Whip in his fridge. Miracle Whip is bad so thats why it is always here. Yeaay, there is new turkey, now Jenny might not get ill with salminela and all sorts of bad stuff that was in the rotten turkey she ate over here last time. There is always pizza at his house too, at least until practice, afterwards we eat it all. Ice cream is bad when it goes down your throat in clumps. We want to hear from you! Email us right now. Go to the contacts and click on our website address.

Holy cheeseballs! It has been more than a month since the last time I posted! Not to mention that we have new songs that I need to put the lyrics up for and that we played a show on the 4th that I didn't announce either! Sorry. Working 4 days a week (well 5 if you count band practice) my not seem like much but when you work till 11:00pm 3 of them and 10:00pm on a band practice tuesday because of band #2, and on top of that try to get in some time with freinds... Well 10 at night just doesn't come out as the best time for editing a web page. I also lost my computer to a virus! Never open emails with attachments unless you know what the attachments are! hehe I'm getting a new one monday though. Ok. First of all, the mailing list sign up thing is not working. And I lost all the adresses since they were on my virused computer, so you can't sign up for the mailing list, and it is not opporational untill I figure out a way to redo it. Here's some good news! We got a new song! Its called "East From West". I have to put the lyrics up though. And we have 3 more up in the air. One is called #7 because we don't have lyrics for it. The others are "Enrgizer Bunny Song for the Ages" and the other is "The Untouchables" Me and Will are working on making the bunny song a swing kinda song. The Untouchables is a ragae/punk (it starts out ragae and turns into punk) That should turn out real nice. #7 follows the same genre we have always done: Punk-Ska. But this one is much more punk than ska. Will and I are working on some songs to do an accoustic

OK, kids, I got like 30 new pictures up in the photos section! Go and check them out. Some of them are pretty funny. We finished "Lord I lift Your Name on High" today, and we'll definately be playing it next show. We also got the guitar part for "The Untouchables" done. Which brings me to my next point: Adam is out of town at camp for the whole month of July, so it is gonna be kinda hard to practice with him. Me and Baron are gonna get together and record the bass lines and send them to him at camp as well as the tabs. Be praying for him though. It would also be great if you guys could remember us in your prayers every tuesday because thats when we practice. And then of course lift us up all the other days of the week too. Well thats about it. Hey! If you get a chance, go and see that movie, Shrek. It's sooo funny! Peace in.

Well, for anyone who still visits the page here, I just wanted to let everyone know that we did not just vanish into thin air. We are alive and well and getting lotsa new songs going. Here's some titles: The Untouchables, Lord I lift Your Name on High, Energizer Bunny Song for the Ages, One Dose Lifely, Once Again, and Let Freedom Reign. I'm not gonna promise that all these will be done by our next show (wich will probably be in August), but we are working on them. Adam is gonna be gone all of July to so we are gonna be bassless at practices for a month or so. We are gonna work hard as ever though. Keep praying for us!

Ok I got three pics scanned at Brandi's last week and forgot to put them up. But they are up now. The reason I only got three done is because it took like an hour and a half to scan just three. Baron has a scanner that we are gonna use to scan the other 25 or so. We also are gonna have some pics of the hatteras show up soon so be looking forward to those (this time I'm gonna be all smart and get them on disc... oh ya). Well go check them out and expect the other ones up real soon. After your done with that you can sign the forum! You also need to go and sign up for the mailing list in the contact section if you already havn't done so. When you have finished all that you can go and tell everyone about your favorite ska band in the world's web site. Lataz.

| 5.30.01 |
Well the site is anounced! We have had like 85 people visit it since I anounced it at the show on Sunday. I am working on getting the site completely finished. I am gonna get the pictures from the show on Sunday up ASAP. The other pictures from previous shows are gonna be a bit harder because we are gonna have to scan them (which takes forever and a half to do). I will try and get them up as soon as possible. In the mean time you need to go read the lyrics and sign the forum! You also need to go and sign up for the mailing list in the contact section. Now GO!!

| 5.22.01 |
Ok, so heres the deal, I am going to everyone about the site at the show in Hatteras and I also am gonna try and get a lot of people to sign up for the mailing list. The only problem is that we do not have the site completely done yet. The bios and testimonies are not up because everyone is still in the midst of writing them. There is no audio either (that should be a given). The website is under construction is what I am trying to say here, but I wanted to use the opportunity. So go and sign the forum, read out lyrics, join the mailing list, and keep your eyes open for additions to the site.

Well, it has been quite a while since the last time I posted anything on the news! OK, here's the deal. I know not a lot of people know about the stie, so tell your friends. I am gonna announse the website at the next show wich we think is gonna be sometime in June. Will wrote a new song called Energizer Bunny Song for the Ages. Me and Dane are working a new one called Let Freedom Reign, and we quite a few others up in the air. We should be playing a full set next show. We just did two show. The first one went good, and the second one went ok. Go and check out the reviews if you want. Peace out.
