OTAKU FIESTA 2K7 intends to unite Japanese and Filipino culture by combining Japan’s lively Matsuuri (Festival) with our very own colorful Fiesta into one big event. It will also serve as a venue for artists, anime fans and gamers to get together. The proposed affair will showcase a colorful parade of costumes from different games, anime and JPOP/JROCK fashion during our FASHION SHOW, a mini concert of musical masterpieces from our local Jrock bands, a mini bazaar participated by different collectible and anime shops, art exhibits from some of our talented PAINTERS, PHOTOGRAPHERS, MAKE-UP ARTISTS and DOLL COLLECTORS, booths and games from both Filipino and Japanese Festivals. Moreover, this event aims to raise funds to help our beneficiaries in their upcoming ventures.
