We present to you the OTAKU FIESTA 2K7... DATING GAME!!

Here are the MECHANICS:

*First, we are going to have a POLL in this thread... wherein you can nominate the FEMALE and MALE cosplayer you want to have a date with, only one nomination per person. NOMINATION PERIOD will end on JULY 22, 2007 @ 9 P.M. (The nomination is FREE)

You can nominate by sending a picture of the cosplayer to:
[email protected] or text in the name of the cosplayer and friendster/multiply/ myspace account to: 09225802318 or simply post a picture of your nominated cosplayer in this thread plus name of the cosplayer.


*After nomination period, we'll pick our top 5 from all the nominees, then it's time to cast your vote... VOTE for the FEMALE and MALE Cosplayer that you want to date for a DAY. The NO.1 choice until AUGUST 19, 2007 will be our "COSPLAYER DATES" on the event. (Voting is FREE)

*The COSPLAY DATING GAME will be held on the event day itself, SEPT.1, 2007. Registration for interested players will be opened from 3pm to 5pm. There will be a minimum fee for this.


*We will draw lots to determine the players. Only 5 players per category will get a chance to join the contest.


*The dating game will take place at exactly 6pm-7pm.


*The winners (male and female) will be given a chance to date our "FEMALE COSPLAYER DATE" and "MALE COSPLAYER DATE" on that night. You will be treated to a special dinner at KAFE MOY, the fancy restaurant inside the KAPITAN MOY venue.

We are going to separate ourselves from the USUAL cosplay competitions. We won't be having the same old catwalks. All you have to do is come to the event WEARING YOUR BEST KIMONO and BEST ANIME/GAME COSTUME, wander around, mingle and get the chance to be picked as the crowd's favorite!

** Witness a beauty pageant of YAOI BEAUTIES.

** A parade will commence before the event starts, 3pm. There will also be a catwalk and a question and answer portion.

The winner for OTAKU FIESTA BINIBINING YAOI will win a CROWN, certificate and freebies from our sponsors.

** STAGE GAME: Pukpok Palayok
** STAGE GAME: Kainan ng Pulboron

MATSUURI GAMES:

** STAGE GAME: Chopstick Shooting game -- try and shoot small balls into a box by using chopsticks to hold and shoot the ball. The player with the most balls inside the box wins.
**STAGE GAME: Fukuwarai, or in English, "funny face game". The game is similar to that of Pin the Tail on the Donkey, whereby the players pin different parts of the face (such as the eyes, eyebrows, nose and mouth) onto a blank face and laugh at the humourous results.
** BOOTH GAME: Fishing rubberballs or other toys out of a swiftly moving water stream
** BOOTH GAME: Try to catch real fish with chopsticks
