Philanthropy
Each spring, the women of Alpha Phi host a philanthropic event, Mud Tug, which benefits The Alpha Phi Foundation.
The Alpha Phi Foundation

The Alpha Phi Foundation was established in 1956 and is one of the oldest Greek foundations.  The Foundation is the philanthropic and educational arm of Alpha Phi Fraternity.  The Alpha Phi Foundation mission is to be a financially successful organization that operates with the highest ethical values.  In the spirit of mutual respect and life-long membership in Alpha Phi, the Foundation funds programs that:
         - provide leadership and educational opportunities
         - encourage and recognize superior scholarship
         - support women's cardiac health
         - educate women about the value of philanthropy
         - assist members in need
Mud Tug & Spreading Joys with Toys

The women of Alpha Phi at the Ohio State University take pride in their philanthropic event, Mud Tug.  Mud Tug is currently in its third year and in this short amount of time it has grown to be one of the most popular service events in the Greek community.  Mud Tug is held every Spring quarter and is open to the entire student body.

Spreading Joys with Toys is in its secondyear, and there is a lot of excitement surrounding the event.  The program aims to make the holidays a little more pleasant for children in the hospital.  Alpha Phi has partnered with the Columbus Children's Hospital for this event.
