Though it was stated that a new line-up would play at the Counter Culture gig on the 24th of March, a last minute surprise occured when Shahril joined the band to play the gig. Go see the pics.
We'd like to thank the organizers, bands and the crowd for a great gig and again to the organizers for founding Aim's missing pullover after the gig and actually washing it. Aim says
muchos gracias. Thanks also to Mahmud of Picturesque for the pics.
Keep your ears close to the ground...

6 March 2001

While many has come to know about this sad news, and due to the many queries about the state of the band in recent months, we have to sadly  state here that Shahril has departed from the band.
His decision stems from his intention to pursue his own future plans in life.
He has stated that he has given his utmost commitment , passion and energy into Ossuary throughout the years, and that the time has come that he should step back.

Shahril performed at last November's Warp gig in KL, where it was announced that it was his last gig with Ossuary.
Shahril left amicably from the band, and we would like to extend our  best wishes to him in whatever he does.

With the above statement, it is obviously clear that Ossuary is still alive, contrary to widespread rumours of the band's demise.
A potential replacement for Shahril has been found, and to catch Ossuary's next action with the new line-up, read this:

Gig Report:
Ossuary will be performing in this year's
Counter Culture gig organized by Ngee Ann Poly's Radio Heatwave on the 24th of March at the Octagon, Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

On a lighter note, due to the big hoohah that this Napster thing has generated, and music piracy in general.
Here's what Ossuary has to say...

Last year's news.
