Second Publisher Releases Hero Book
Cafepress released the Hero Within book this week. It is a 121 page trade paperback 5x8 inches. This is a guide for those who are considering giving their lives to service, whether it be the Peace Corps, AmeriCares, or overseas mission work. It is also for those who have done short term volunteerism for NGOs and need to process the experience. Giving our lives to others is a deeply psychological and spiritual process. There are well know guideposts identified in the treatise as well as the author's personal lessons from years of work in distant lands.

Field report from Good Samaritan Orphanage, Dominican Republic
Well if it isn't the kids, it's the cat. As we are getting prepared to go to China Santa our orphan cat gets a gash in its belly. Took about ten stitches from the local vet to close it up. Santa did not know where his sleigh was for a couple of hours. But he will be fine in a few days. We got him medicine for infection and his stitches will disappear after a couple of weeks we are told.
Invitation to China
Marta and I have been invited to visit missionary churches for a couple of weeks from November 15-30. We will stop in Vancouver for a couple of days to pick up a few things for our trip. We will be speaking in five churches, visit a medical clinic and two schools. We will have a reception at a Baptist Seminary and Marta will speak to a ladies mission circle. During the week Dale will conduct two Bible studies on the Book of Romans titled Fellowship of the Unashamed and Religion is not Enough. Also he will conduct two youth rallies being organized around the release of the movie the Passion, by Mel Gibson, and Dale is being presented as the movie expert on the language of Jesus. Dale was hired by the Passion movie representatives to determine the accuracy of the Aramaic spoken in the movie.
