Bosni is 3 years old. He came to Good Samaritian Orphanage with his 10 year old brother, Abel. He was very angry when he first came here and used foul language and lewd gestures. Since then we have been able to make him feel loved and wanted. Most of his bad behaviors have disappeared and we have discovered a very bright child. He loves to have books read to him.

Domingo is 4 years old and is living in the orphanage with two of his older brothers, Ariel and Johchi. They were abandoned by their mother who is a prostitute.

Santos is 13 years old and clearly is the most intelligent orphan. He is of Haitian origin and does not have many opportunities in Dominican society if left to his own. Haitians do most of the stoop labor in the country. Very few are able to get an education. We have not tested him but we are sure that he is at genius level. This year he advanced two grade levels. He lost both of his parents due to an accident when he was about 5 years old.
