Did you ever know a time when you thought you knew everything about the world,
When two plus two was four and every door had a key to unlock it?
Did you ever think you would live to see even better days ahead, happy?
Have you ever thought you would measure up to your idols and be all that you could be?
The harder you try, the harder you fall for failure.
The longer you go, the more stubborn you look in their eyes.
The stronger you seem, the more they just try to cut you down.
But the heart and passion you have can never be taken away.
Did you ever think it would be fun to be an adult with many responsibilities?
Did you ever try to use caution and reality on your side?
Did you ever realize that jumping without a plan could hurt you,
And hurt me and your family so much that we could die?

Have you ever felt like you wanted to hold her close?
Have you ever tried to meet her, but found she is too far away?

Have you ever said "I love you," knowing that she could never hear?
Have you ever imagined that she was near to you?
That you could feel her close, that you knew she was with you?
Have you ever imagined her breath on your face?
Have you ever dreamt of a kiss, the first awkward kiss?
And have you ever thought that possibly you could make it?
Have you ever thought you could finally be in love?
That you could finally be with someone who loves you in return?
That she, with all her greatness, would be the perfect one for you?
Have you ever fallen in love with someone you have never seen?
Have you ever fallen for a girl a world away?
Have you ever cried at night, knowing that it was nearly impossible?
Have you ever felt despair from love, because you cannot tell her?
If I could, I would cry it from the highest mountains.
I would sing it across the oceans far and wide.
I would yell it from the bottom of my heart, from the core of my soul.
"I love you with all of my heart!" I will always love you.
You are my rainbow in the sky.
You are the twinkle in my eyes.
You make all my days brighter.
You make me happy all the time.
You are an eagle soaring high.
You are my angel with its wings.
You are so near and dear to me.
You are so many wonderful things.
You are my heart and my passion.
You are my happiness and my soul.
You are my one and only love.
You make my smile glow.
And I'd skip a starlit night,
I'd miss the final game,
I'd miss those big moments
That give us all our fame,
I'd pass a millions bucks,
I'd skip the moonlight bright,
I'd forget all the things I've learned,
I'd give up all my rights,
I'd skip a thousand diamonds,
I'd refuse a car that's free,
I'd shun a million rainbows,
To know that you love me.
