Goodbye
play this to “Good Riddance” Green Day

Desolate and barren, the plain rolls on into eternity.
I see my face in a mirror, but I don’t like what I see.
Advice surrounds me but I don’t know what to do.
Music helps me learn what I’m going through.

It’s nothing that I didn’t know, but something never known.
I hope someday I know where to go.
Caffeine provides me with my energy each day.
My life is so confusing, I don’t know where to stay.
And yet I have no one to help me through this time.
I only have my mind to make up these rhymes.
It’s nothing that I didn’t know, but something never known.
I hope someday I know where to go.
My feet are on dry land but still stuck in the ground.
I look for something, but it’s nowhere to be found.
I live for my life and I live for those who care.
Were it not for them I’d be nowhere.
It’s nothing that I didn’t know, but something never known.
I hope someday I know where to go.
Please help me find a place where I can learn to be.
I need to find out if I am really me.
I need someone to be there all the time.
Show me love’s symbol or a good luck sign.
It’s nothing that I didn’t know, but something never known.
I hope someday I know where to go.

It’s nothing that I didn’t know, but something never known.
I hope someday I know where to go.

I Had to Go Home
sing to “Save Tonight” by Eagle Eye Cherry

As the dust of the war settled on the ground
And the air cleared, and the sky appeared,
I saw the sun so full and bright that I
Never wanted to go home.

Now I know that I have to go back,
And I was selfish to think that I should not.
But on that day the war ended
I knew what I was living for.

I had my life, and I wanted love.
I had my dreams, and I wanted more.
I knew that I was needed somewhere
I knew that I had to go home.

And the day I knew that I couldn’t stay
I wanted to... just to go away.
But I knew I was needed at home,
And that was where I had to go.

I had my life, and I wanted love.
I had my dreams, and I wanted more.
I knew that I was needed somewhere
I knew that I had to go home.

I had my life, and I wanted love.
I had my dreams, and I wanted more.
I knew that I was needed somewhere
I knew that I had to go home.

For Kara
The beautiful angel sits alone on the beach,
Waiting for someone she knows.
She feels him nearby, but is just out of reach;
She feels him wherever she goes.
She knows she will never be fully alone,
For he will always be there.
She knows she will never be out on her own.
His spirit will always be near.
So she enters each day with a smile on her face,
Knowing there's someone who cares,
Someone who won't let her life go to waste,
Someone who will always be there.

Once Found, Now Lost
Once we were young, just the two of us.
Once we knew how to have fun.
But now that time has forgotten us,
We are, to each other, no one.
But as time moves on, we have to see
That there is so much more to life.
And I sit pining over who I should be
While you go have fun with your life.
It’s time to move on to the future.
It’s time to switch gears in our minds.
And it’s perfectly normal to be unsure
Of what to expect in good time.
For I know I will stay here forever.
Because I need some time to think
About all our good times together.
And I’ll leave you with a smile and a wink.
Remember, to me you are wonderful.
You have never been evil or bad,
But I know when it’s time for you to go,
Despite making me sad.
And I know this is something unpredicable,
But I know it’s something right too.
And I hope that your whole life is wonderful,
Cuz you know, I love you.
