     Today (well, actually yesterday, Yahoo! has been having many problems hosting as of late) Kylie, Mayuho, and I went to the park in the neighborhood. It was great! We were swinging on the swings, riding the see-saw, and sliding down the slides. Kylie was so adorable as she rode the swings in her mommy's arms. She would laugh and smile as she swung towards her daddy (whose behind was too big to fit in the swings- what a shocking development!). Later we tried having me hold her as Mayuho swung towards us, and she was almost as happy. She just likes the faces rushing up towards her I guess.
     In other news, it was Children's day here in Japan, a national holiday. However while they call it Children's Day, it is really just for boys. Households with boys fly big windsocks painted to look like carp. They are called "Koi-Nobori." The girls have their day on
March 3. But that is not a national holiday! Hmmm... I should start a campaign going to make that a holiday as well.
<----Yesterday    Tomorrow--->
"Hey Kylie, what are you doing today?"
"Oh, nothing much. I thought I'd just hang around the house today..."
