| Maggie loves birds. She believes her mission in life is to chase birds (and squirrels). Our first morning at the beach she discovered there were lots and lots of birds--gulls, terns, plovers, pelicans, and sandpipers. She made sure each time we went to the beach that the beach was cleared of birds. Here she's looking at gulls that are sitting in the water offshore (the white specks on the water). |
| Toward the end of the week we went to a tourist shack in Virginia Beach. The store was selling nerf footballs, on sale for $2 each, so we bought one for Maggie. Maggie loves to play football with the boys in our neighborhood, so we thought she'd like to have her own football. Boy, were we right! Her first nerf football lasted just one day--it was too tempting for her to pull chunks out of the football. So we went back to the store the next day and bought five more! |
