Resting after a hard day at the beach, but still keeping a sharp eye out for any birds that may decide to land on the beach.
Yes, we were actually at the beach, too.  Here's one of Keith and Maggie (before she destroyed her new football).
And here's the only picture we have of Tami at the beach (we had another one on the digital camera, but it got erased.  Too bad, because it was a nice photo.)  While we had temps in the mid 60s and low 70s for most of the week we were there (in late January!) the morning we left to go back home (Washington, DC area), it got cold and very windy.  Underneath the blanket Tami is wearing a t-shirt, sweatshirt, leather jacket, gloves, earmuffs (and jeans, of course), and she was still cold! Behind Tami is the little 2-bedroom bunglaow we stayed in at Ft. Story in Virginia Beach.  It was built in 1942.  The beach is just over the dunes in the background.
