ORCHID - Nepal is committed 

*    To identify poor and disabled children through appropriate unbiased scrutiny of collected information and look for sponsorship and donors for the children.

*    To Sponsor children through 'foster parents/families' enabling them to attend schools by providing uniforms, books, or by paying for school fees, etc.

*    To arrange to impart vocational skill training to the families of respective children and counsel them wherever required.

*    To regularly evaluate every individual child's development.

*    To conduct informal education programmes for the children as per the real need of the community.

*     To conduct women education and consciousness programmes.

*    To conduct programmes to help children's moral, spiritual and social development.

*    In addition to these, ORCHID - Nepal also aims at working in the fields of health, income generation and community development and thus responding the social problem in a holistic way.
