'Orca Society' The Orca Society is a organization set up by ten students from school who wish to get their message against captivity to the many people around the world.
Aquariums have been around since 1961, capturing wild animals from their natural habbitats around the world and fircing them to perform exploitating shows under the word educational. If whales and dolphins are there through selective breeding and to be protected than why are they made to perfrom shows? What is all that about?
Whale and dolphin calves are taken yearly from their brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers and friends in their pods to be starved and beaten to perform for fish. How would you like to do this day in and day out?
Orca Society was funded in 2002 when three young people were educated through the eyes of past trainer at a marine park about how the animals were treated and what they were made to do to get their regualr food of dead fish. One of the people who was eduacted this way is still exisiting in todays society - and is also writting this webpage! - this was not the way she wanted to be taught, but it made her understand the truth, with the truth being cold and cruel, but it was the truth and this truth is still around today.
Today the Orca Society has reached its way through many people in Buckinghamshire and the Midlands. Still we each do our own part and each day we have a gathering to talk about what we have learnt. If you would like to be part of the Orca Society's emailing messaging boards than please contact us.
