Giant CCI Woodie (03.17.02) :
There has been reports that the next coaster to come to CP will be a giant wooden coaster. According to plan, this would be one of the tallest and fastest wooden coasters around, and with CP not getting a wooden coaster since the 1990's, the possibilites for a coaster in 2003 are mostly headed towards a woodie. This would be one bad coaster. Look for updates in the future when we hear more info.
4th Dimmension (03.10.02) :
As we know, CP's only real serious compeditor as of now with coasters is SFMM, but by far CP has top-of-the-notch coasters, always custom and better than the other parks. This led me to believe that next season, the park has a possibily to either add a 4th dimmension, flying, or floorless at the least, to keep in competition for 2003. Whatever coaster it will be, it will be bigger and better than the other parks, and well adapted to the enviornment, with tunnels, etc.
Custom Flying and/or Floorless (03.10.02) :
If CP doesn't get a 4th dimmension coaster for 2003, then they will most likely get one or both of these new concept coasters, but of coarse, a lot better than the other parks. These will definitely be custom made, being adapted to the enviornement. Look for more info soon.
VertiGo Removal (03.17.02) :
As of now, there have been no real confirmations, but the park will indeed remove their VertiGo along with Knott's Berry's after it collapsed during the off season 50 feet high in the air. The park wants to take no chances, so the ride will most likely not be operating during the 2002 season, if it's not already removed by then. CP claims they will make up for their lost by getting a replacement ride. That's all the info we have on this for now.
