1. The completed
lion head model. The following images show the different parts needed
to make the head.

parts that make up the eye. Mostly toruses and cylinders and a sphere.

3. An exploded
view of the head showing the different parts.

4. How the
"fur" was made. An opacity map was applied to a polygonal mesh.
This mesh was then path deformed (world space modifier) to a spline. The
spline outlines the edge of the head that needed fur.
