There is nothing greater in this world than seeing a smile on a child's face, the 'excitement' and 'enthusiasm' expressed when they've been given a toy. Yet every Christmas there are thousands of unfortunate children across our great nation who have the holiday season come and go without ever having the joy of opening a gift. There are those of poverty stricken homes and those of simple neglect, either way it's a very sad situation for any child to experience.
I couldn't imagine having to endure all the festivities of the season, writing a letter to Santa, seeing all the gift buying, hearing the sounds of Christmas tunes in the air, the pretty lights and decorations all around, having to watch a Christmas story on the television of a neighbor or from a department store window, only to wake up on Christmas morning without my favorite toy or a single gift under the tree. This is really sad, but all too true for thousands of kids around the world on Christmas morning. We can't stop this from happening to all children, but with a caring thought and a donation of simply some loose change that ia just lying around, we could make many, many children very happy on Christmas morning!
Operation Santa Claus - "No More Tears" is a new fund raising campaign I've started to help make as many of these unfortunate children as possible, very happy on Christmas morning. One-hundred percent of the donated funds will be used to purchase toys, jackets, food, and other necessities for the children.
Please explore my site, it's very easy to overlook the values of this subject whether it's my fund raiser or an affiliated site, but it's nothing for some to spend $4200.00 for a bottle of Champaign!
A $5.00 donation will put an everlasting smile on any child's face! We can't blame the faults of fate on ourselves, but we can make a huge difference in the lives of the children of our future!!
