Lord, you have blessed us so much. Thank you for giving us the gift of Christ Jesus. Through Christ’s miraculous birth, life, death, and resurrection, you gave us a glimpse of your power, mercy, love, and grace. You are the Great I AM. You showed your power when you commanded the waves to be still, when you walked on water, and when you fed thousands with only a few fish and loaves of bread. You showed your mercy and love when you allowed your only begotten son to walk among us. Our savior died to fulfill your plan of redemption for our sin. As your chosen people and the heir to your throne, you exhibit your wonderful grace when you allow us to make the choice of how we will spend eternity. Thank you for being patient and forgiving with our numerous shortcomings.

You are always providing an escape route for us and are always willing to intervene if we only call out to you. Regardless of our decisions, your love remains steadfast and abundant. We honor and praise your Holy Name. Thank you for the gift of Christ. Help us not to neglect our personal relationship with you, Lord. Let this Christmas be a momentous and joyous occasion as we celebrate the birth of your precious son.

Lord, help us to grow in you. Restore and maintain our faith in you. The world constantly tries to deny your existence, but we know you are real. We know that you remain in control over the universe. Touch our lives and teach us how to improve ourselves. Help us to use our trials to strengthen our faith in you. Your word describes how we should count it all joy when we fall into… temptation, knowing this, that the trying of our faith worketh patience (James 1:2-3). When our faith is shaken and when we grow weary, remind us of your goodness and your grace. Let your presence wash over us like a holy fire. Thank you for loving us and for having faith in us. We will strive to do the same.

Jesus, I'm coming to you, willing to let you lead me. Guide my life and help me to choose wise choices. Sculpt me into the person you want me to be. Let my life be a positive influence in someone else's life. Let me be an encouragement to others. Help me to enjoy the present and to look forward to the future. I believe that you have a plan for my life. Give me a caring heart to love others the way you want me to. Give me patience in dealing with those who try my patience. Give me strength to accomplish your will. I love you, Lord. Thank you for blessing me. Amen.

Lord, when was the last time we really told you “thank you”? Thanks for all you have done for us. Thanks for all you will continue to do for us. We have trusted you to guide our lives. You have. We have prayed that you would deliver us from various circumstances. You did. We have prayed that you would use us for your glory. You are. You have blessed us and have kept us alive. All that’s left is for us to stop and to say thanks.

Our “thank you” is an appreciation coming from our hearts. You know our hearts, Father. You know what we’re going through and you have let us feel your presence. Thank you for standing by us and for preparing our way. We are strong through you, and we will survive our everyday challenges because of you. Forgive us for not always praising you or for thanking you. But we’re stopping from our busy schedules right now to say thanks. We love You, Lord.

Heal our hearts, Lord. Our faith has been shaken by the troubles in our lives. Hear our cry and deliver us. We are too weak and worn to continue on our own. Heal our broken heart so that we will have the passion for life you instilled in us from the day we were born. Help us to trust your plan for us and restore our faith in those around us. It hurts when they mock us, when they ridicule us for serving you. Our faith will remain strong because you are our fortress. We are strong in you. People will see that they cannot shake us anymore because you are our tower of strength.

Lord, teach us how to pray effective prayers. We frequently come to you, asking that you would bless us, sustain us, and have mercy upon us. But now, we would like to take the time to honor and praise your name for you are Holy. You are the king of all kings. You are magnificent and powerful enough to have created the universe, yet gentle enough to form our every being, compassionate enough to love us, to know our ambitions and our dreams and our pain. Thank you for caring for us. Let us magnify your name throughout the earth.

“Peace and Guidance” ~ Rashauna

Lord, we cry out to you for help, assurance, and peace. We need to feel your love. We need to feel your presence. The situations and trials in our lived feel so overwhelming. Give us the peace and the strength to endure. We will continue to place our trust in you. Guide our decisions for you alone know the outcome. Give us the courage to follow your will and help us to distinguish, to listen, and to hearken to your voice. Send your angels to guard us as we encounter difficult spirits everyday. This week, help us to recognize opportunities where we can grow in you. You are preparing us for a chosen task in our lives so give us the strength and peace to remain steadfast. We love you, Lord. Guide us as I face this week. Let your will be done, Amen.
