Our True Shepard 9

Hey Friends, thank you for coming to the PRAYER ROOM. This is a very exciting place where all kinds of good things are happening.  Come expecting God to do what His Word said He would do.  So grab a chair and let’s pray together. A family that prays together stays together.

Let’s allow the Holy Spirit to get into our hearts and take us into the presence of Almighty God.  Sweet Holy Spirit, I know that you are here with me right now.   Therefore, I ask You to come into my life and quicken my spirit.   Make me come alive to the things of God.  I have a strong need that only God can meet.

Father, give me a hearing heart.   Give me a heart that is sensitive to you and your voice.   I want a heart that is transformed by the renewing of my mind to the promises that are contained in your Word.   One thing that I don’t want is a harden spirit.

Lord, I thank you for your many blessings, for you have blessed me in so many ways.    You created me in your exact image.  You have given me many of the same great qualities that only you have. Inside my heart is your home. I pray asking you to open up the eyes of my understanding to the fact that you really do live inside my spirit.

God, teach us how to pray the many different forms of prayer.  There is so much that we need to pray for and we really don’t know how to pray for what we ought to be praying about, the way that we should.   So, Holy Spirit, we ask you to guide us into praying the right kind of prayer for the right kind of situation.

Holy Spirit, lead us into a worship type of prayer, because God created me for worship.   I want to worship my God both in Spirit and in Truth.   I know that worship is a form of prayer, therefore lead me into a worship type of experience.   God I know that you want me to worship you and it is my will to worship you, because you’re worthy of all the worship that I can give You.

Now, I close my eyes and meditate on You, Holy Spirit.  I settle down, and just relax right here in your presence to allow you to have some time with me.  I will not attempt to rush you, I allow you to take your time and be yourself in my body.   Holy Spirit, here I am, take all of me.   I have made my move, now it’s time for you to make your move.  You know what I need; you know why I am here.  You know all about me.  You knew me before I was born.  What I really long to do right now is worship God.  Now, slide right down inside my body and work your way outward in me.  My spirit is now drawing life from the resources you have made available for me.

Holy Spirit, allow me to experience a spirit of Worship with my Heavenly Father.   Take me into the Holiest of the Holiest.  Take me into the presence of Almighty God.   But, before you do that, allow the Word of God to wash me and cleanse me from all of my sins and un-righteousness.

God, give me wisdom to know how to pray the prayer of forgiveness.  How do I allow you to wash me in your word?  What does it mean to be washed in your word?  Holy Spirit, lead me into the washing of the Word.

God, thank you for the many blessings that you have given to me.  I am indeed living on the Promises contained within your Word.  I am blessed by the power contained in your Word.  Thanks for keeping me safe from the evil one.

God, you have given me a bright new future, so I ask that you will take off the darkness from me eyes. Continue to lead me into this year with my eyes focused on you and your word, because your Word is a Lamp unto my feet and a light unto my pathway.

In Jesus Christ’s name I pray and through the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen.  032903

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father

Which Art In Heaven,

 Hallowed be thy name.

God in Heaven, we honor your Holy name.  Your Word is Holy and makes much power available in the earth.  God, we pray that you will give us knowledge of the reality of the world in which you live.

Thy kingdom come.

Open up our spiritual understanding to the world in which we live.  Allow your Kingdom to come in all of its fullness.   Give us wisdom to know how to pray, according to your perfect will.  We declare our wills to be your will.  Your will for us is perfect.  Allow your will to dominate the working of our bodies.

Thy will be done in earth,

as it is in heaven

We pray that every cell in our bodies will get into direct alignment with Your perfect will.  May Your will to be done in our homes, careers, government, churches, and most of all in our hearts.  Your will be done in all of the earth, just as it is done in heaven.  We want to know how to use every moment to its fullest.

Whatever we prohibit on earth is prohibited in heaven, and whatever we allow on earth is allowed in heaven.    If two of us agree concerning anything we ask, our Father in heaven will do it for us.   Where two or three of us gather together in Jesus name, He will be among us.  Matt 18:18

Give us this day

our daily bread.

Give us this day the spiritual food in need.  We do not take our lives for granted. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to live in this life.  Thanks for the gifts and talents that you have given to us to live this life the way you want.  Give us wisdom to know how not to waste our time.  Help us to know what’s truly important.  Keep us on the right track.

Give us today the food we need and wisdom to know how to choose the right food to eat.  Bless the food that we put into our bodies.  May we use the energy that we get from our food to magnify your Word in the earth.  Heal our bodies and make us well, restore our youth.  Refresh our souls and give us a new out look toward life.  Let the Mind that was in Christ Jesus be in us.

Forgive us our debt

Have mercy on us, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of our sins.  Wash us clean from our guilt. Purify us from our sin.   For we were born a sinner from the moment we were conceived. Therefore, we need you to cleanse and purify us in our innermost being and teach us to be wise.

Purify us from our sins, and we will be clean; wash us, and we will be whiter than snow.   Give us back our joy again; you have broken us--now let us rejoice.    Remove the stain of our guilt.   Create in us a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within us.

God, do not banish us from your presence, and don't take your Holy Spirit away from us.   Restore to us again the joy of your salvation.

Forgive our debtors

Mal 3:9-12

10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the LORD Almighty, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Let me prove it to you! 11 Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not shrivel before they are ripe," says the LORD Almighty.   NLT

Lead us not into temptation,

Ex 15:25-26

26 "If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and laws, then I will not make you suffer the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you."  NLT

Deliver us from evil:

Ps 91:1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High

will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 This I declare of the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I am trusting him. 3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague. 4 He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

Ps 25:4 Show me the path where I should walk, O LORD; point out the right road for me to follow. NLT

Ps 32:8The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.

I will advise you and watch over you. NLT

Ps 43:3 Send out your light and your truth; let them guide me. Let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live. 4 There I will go to the altar of God, to God--the source of all my joy. I will praise you with my harp, O God, my God!  5 Why am I discouraged? Why so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again--my Savior and my God! NLT

Ps119:133 Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by any evil. NLT

Prov 3:13 Happy is the person who finds wisdom and gains understanding. 14 For the profit of wisdom is better than silver, and her wages are better than gold. 15 Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. 16 She offers you life in her right hand, and riches and honor in her left. 17 She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying. 18 Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly.

19 By wisdom the LORD founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens. 20 By his knowledge the deep fountains of the earth burst forth, and the clouds poured down rain.

21 My child, don't lose sight of good planning and insight. Hang on to them, 22 for they fill you with life and bring you honor and respect. 23 They keep you safe on your way and keep your feet from stumbling. NLT

Ps91:5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day, 6 nor dread the plague that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. 7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you. 8 But you will see it with your eyes; you will see how the wicked are punished.

9 If you make the LORD your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your dwelling. 11 For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you with their hands to keep you from striking your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample down lions and poisonous snakes; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!

14 The LORD says, "I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. 15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue them and honor them. 16 I will satisfy them with a long life and give them my salvation." NLT

Thine is the kingdom,

2 Chron 7:13-15

14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land. 15 I will listen to every prayer made in this place, NLT

The power,

                                              Luke 9:1-2

The Lord gave them power and authority to cast out demons and to heal all diseases.  NLT

The glory

Ex 40:34 Then the cloud covered the Tabernacle, and the glorious presence of the LORD filled it. 35 Moses was no longer able to enter the Tabernacle because the cloud had settled down over it, and the Tabernacle was filled with the awesome glory of the LORD.

36 Now whenever the cloud lifted from the Tabernacle and moved, the people of Israel would set out on their journey, following it. 37 But if the cloud stayed, they would stay until it moved again. 38 The cloud of the LORD rested on the Tabernacle during the day, and at night there was fire in the cloud so all the people of Israel could see it. This continued throughout all their journeys. NLT

Moses Sees the LORD's Glory

Ex 33:11-23

12 Moses said to the LORD, "You have been telling me, 'Take these people up to the Promised Land.' But you haven't told me whom you will send with me. You call me by name and tell me I have found favor with you.

13 Please, if this is really so, show me your intentions so I will understand you more fully and do exactly what you want me to do. Besides, don't forget that this nation is your very own people."

14 And the LORD replied, "I will personally go with you, Moses. I will give you rest--everything will be fine for you."

15 Then Moses said, "If you don't go with us personally, don't let us move a step from this place. 16 If you don't go with us, how will anyone ever know that your people and I have found favor with you? How else will they know we are special and distinct from all other people on the earth?"

17 And the LORD replied to Moses, "I will indeed do what you have asked, for you have found favor with me, and you are my friend."

18 Then Moses had one more request. "Please let me see your glorious presence," he said.

19 The LORD replied, "I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, 'the LORD,' to you. I will show kindness to anyone I choose, and I will show mercy to anyone I choose. 20 But you may not look directly at my face, for no one may see me and live."

21 The LORD continued, "Stand here on this rock beside me. 22 As my glorious presence passes by, I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed. 23 Then I will remove my hand, and you will see me from behind. But my face will not be seen."  NLT

Forever

Amen.

DRESSED UP FOR WARFARE

Ephesians 6:10

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

We must always remember at all times that our strength must come from the Lord's mighty power from within us.     We must be empowered through our union with the precious Holy Spirit and draw strength from Him alone.  We put into use all of God’s weapons that He has given us so that we will be able to safely fight against all of the strategies and tricks of the Devil.

For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against persons without bodies-the evil rulers of the unseen world, those mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule this world; and against huge numbers of wicked spirits in the spirit world.

So, let’s put into use all of the weapons which God has given us so that we may effectively defeat demons whenever they attacks, and when the battle is all over, we will still be holding our grounds.

But to do this, we will need the strong belt of truth and the breastplate of God's approval.    Wear shoes that are able to speed you on as you preach the Good News of peace with God.

In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan.     And you will need the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit-which is the Word of God.

Pray all the time. Ask God for anything in line with the Holy Spirit's wishes. Plead with him, reminding him of your needs, and keep praying earnestly for all Christians everywhere.      Pray for me, too, and ask God to give me the right words as I boldly tell others about the Lord and as I explain to them that his salvation is for the Gentiles too. Our True Shepard

Psalms 23

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST is our True Shepherd who will provide and Supply us with all our daily needs.   Christ is our Leader and He will guide us into all truths because the truths that we know will make me free.  We are dependent upon God’s Word to feed us with food for our spirit so we can grow up and become aware of the Kingdom of Heaven.  I praise God for the protection that He gives us against Satan and all of his offensive demons.     We shall not want for anything because God continues to meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory.

2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.

Christ makes me take time off to find much needed rest in quiet places, so that I may experience the great benefits He has made available for me in His Word.  The Holy Spirit leads me into the invisible Kingdom of God where I can lie down and find fresh revelation; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. [Rev 7:17.]

3 He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

He refreshes and restores my lives; He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake.

Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.     You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.     Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

Seek the Lord

Isaiah 55

"Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink--even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk--it's all free! 2 Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen, and I will tell you where to get food that is good for the soul!

3 "Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, for the life of your soul is at stake. I am ready to make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the mercies and unfailing love that I promised to David. 4 He displayed my power by being my witness and a leader among the nations. 5 You also will command the nations, and they will come running to obey, because I, the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, have made you glorious."

6 Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. 7 Let the people turn from their wicked deeds. Let them banish from their minds the very thought of doing wrong! Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

8 "My thoughts are completely different from yours," says the LORD. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

10 "The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. 11 It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. 12 You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! 13 Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where briers grew, myrtles will sprout up. This miracle will bring great honor to the LORD's name; it will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.

Jesus Christ is the Way to the God

Don't be worried and upset.  Just continue to trust in God and also trust in The Word of God, because The Word of God, God, and the Son of God are all one and the same.   There are many areas in God’s House, and I AM has prepare a place for each one of us.  When everything is ready in God’s House, Christ will come and get us so that we will always be where He is.    And we will know how to find Him and also know how to get to where He is, because the Word of God through the Power of the Holy Spirit will show us the way.

The Word of God is the Way to enter into Life.  He knows the way and He will lead us into an abundant Life that only God can give.   God’s Word longs to make Himself known to each one of us, all we must do is meditate upon His Promises and hide His sayings deep within our hearts.     God’s Word lives within our hearts and He is known as the Great I AM who works out the will of God in each of our lives.

"The truth is, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.   You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, because the work of the Son brings glory to the Father.    Yes, ask anything in my name, and I will do it!

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

"If you love me, obey my commandments.   And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, who will never leave you.   He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world at large cannot receive him, because it isn't looking for him and doesn't recognize him. But you do, because he lives with you now and later will be in you.

Jesus will never abandon us nor forsake us, He will come to us.   However, the world can not see Him, but we can.  Jesus is alive, and we live through Him.  Jesus was raised from the dead through the Power of the Holy Spirit, and He has come to live in us, and we in Him, in the form of the Holy Spirit.   21 Those who obey my commandments are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them, and I will love them. And I will reveal myself to each one of them."

25  I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. 26  But when the Father sends the Counselor as my representative--and by the Counselor I mean the Holy Spirit--he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I myself have told you.

27 "I am leaving you with a gift--peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid. 28 Remember what I told you: I am going away, but I will come back to you again. If you really love me, you will be very happy for me, because now I can go to the Father, who is greater than I am. 29 I have told you these things before they happen so that you will believe when they do happen.

30 "I don't have much more time to talk to you, because the prince of this world approaches. He has no power over me, 31 but I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father. Come, let's be going.

Hebrews 11

1 Great Examples of Faith

What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. 2 God gave his approval to people in days of old because of their faith.

3 By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God's command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

6 So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

The Kingdom of God

Matt 6:33

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  KJV

KJV

Light of the Body

Luke 11:34

34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

"If you fully obey the LORD your God by keeping all the commands I am giving you today, the LORD your God will exalt you above all the nations of the world.

Isaiah 55

3 "Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, for the life of your soul is at stake. I am ready to make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the mercies and unfailing love that I promised to David.

6 Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.

9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

11 It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.

Isa 40:29-31

29 He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers strength to the weak. 30 Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up. 31 But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. NLT

Mark 11:23

23  I assure you that you can say to this mountain, 'May God lift you up and throw you into the sea,' and your command will be obeyed. All that's required is that you really believe and do not doubt in your heart. NLT

1 Cor 2:9

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined  what God has prepared  for those who love him."

NLT

Heb 11:5-6

6 So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

NLT

12 You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!  NLT

Ps 119:130

130 The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.   NIV

Ps 103:1-5

103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

KJV

James 1:2-8

2 Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. 3 For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything.

5 If you need wisdom--if you want to know what God wants you to do--ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. 6 But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to answer, for a doubtful mind is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 People like that should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 They can't make up their minds. They waver back and forth in everything they do.   NLT

James 1:12-16

12 God blesses the people who patiently endure testing. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. 13 And remember, no one who wants to do wrong should ever say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else either. 14 Temptation comes from the lure of our own evil desires. 15 These evil desires lead to evil actions, and evil actions lead to death. 16 So don't be misled, my dear brothers and sisters.

NLT

James 4:7-10

7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you. 10 When you bow down before the Lord and admit your dependence on him, he will lift you up and give you honor.

NLT

1 Sin's Power Is Broken

Romans 6

Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised as he was. 6 Our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.

7 For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. 8 And since we died with Christ, we know we will also share his new life. 9 We are sure of this because Christ rose from the dead, and he will never die again.  NLT

KJV

Heb 11:1

11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Heb 11:3

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

KJV

Heb 11:6

6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

KJV

1 Life in the Spirit

Romans 8

10 Since Christ lives within you, even though your body will die because of sin, your spirit is alive because you have been made right with God.

11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as he raised Christ from the dead, he will give life to your mortal body by this same Spirit living within you.

The Future Glory

18 Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later. 19 For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are   23 And even we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and suffering. We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has promised us.

24 Now that we are saved, we eagerly look forward to this freedom. For if you already have something, you don't need to hope for it. 25 But if we look forward to something we don't have yet, we must wait patiently and confidently.

26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don't even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. 27 And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God's own will. 28 And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. 29 For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters. 30 And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And he gave them right standing with himself, and he promised them his glory.

35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death?

38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away.

39 Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

NLT
