Perversion of Language
By J

The shallow held the word verbose
In a horn of plenty, to cast the glance
Of its vocabulary.

It will always be clothed
In what it wants in elegance
But little in prose,
For the finding eye knows
Its ends are in glitz;
A peckers show.

Upon an imaginative plate
It is hard to take
Its artificial sweetener
As the shallows indicative posture,
The picture of a revolving head
Carried off to bed,
Leaves more than a point
To hesitate the giving of praise,
For though it is strict and straight
Its more than fit and fake.
