About Me
My name is Eugenio Fonte Jr. My nickname is Jun or Onyo. I live in Las Pinas City, Philippines. My hometown is Banton, in the province of Romblon. I have a BS degree in Electronics and Communication Engineer at Feati University. I am a registered Electronics and Engineer #0002878 since 1987 from the Professional Regulation Commision here in the Philippines. I have more than ten years of experience in the field of service and technical support on consumer electronics products and have work from various manufacturers such as Philips, Sony and Pioneer. In the last 9 years I've worked for Philips as a service engineer in Singapore.
My interest in computers, started in 1997 when I bought a Pentium 233 with Windows 95 as an operating system. This started my interest in the world of internet and in computers, and other operating system (Linux, Windows, BEOS and OS2). I have been an avid linux user since 1997, a firefox fan, a web standard evangelist ans css rebooter.
Stereo Hi-Fi and audio/video is my primary interest before computer. Look for it in my Stuff section. This will be about my audio/video gears, and some other stuffs. I am also an audiophile. I am very keen and interested in Hi-Fi equipment and listening.
My hobbies are reading books, newspapers, periodicals, comics and magazine by buying, renting and visiting libraries and bookstore. I am a wide reader.

After I learned Web Development and Administration I got interested in making web site especially my own OnyoZine and trying different design. For the software or application that I use, it is Adobe Photoshop and Imageready for graphics, for editing and coding, it is HTML-Kit or Composer(Netscape or Mozilla) and Notepad, for checking and validating, it is HTML Tidy and W3C Validation service. Presently I am unemployed, but I have upgraded my knowledge in computer and IT. I just finished my Certificate in Web Development and Administration (WebMaster) at Asia Pacific College Las Pinas branch, here in Las Pinas. I also finished up LAN (Fundamentals, Implementation and Maintenance) at Ateneo Information Technology Institute in Makati and got a Certificate of Proficiency with a grade of 93.
