ASSIGNMENTS Reflective
Notes Actually, at the
first time I didn’t have special intention to join this class and just wanted
to find out what kind of class it is. Some of my friends said that in CALL
class we learn how to make a website. I thought that it is very interesting
then I take this class. However, it is not as easy as I imagine. I have to
deal with internet connection that sometimes very slow. Mailing list lurking
needed my patience. For some times, I didn’t get any article from TESL-L.
This situation really made me frustrated. Worse, my disk was brokenL. I don’t mean to “berkeluh
kesah”, but, these are the things that really
affect my feeling dealing with CALL things. Web evaluation is an interesting
one although it also needed my patience. Mrs. Neny
always said that it will be very useful when you apply for a job. This really
motivated me to do the task. Creating a
45-minutes-lesson for final project is very useful for me. As I want to teach
on the future, I have to know that material is suitable for my students. I also
have to find interesting activities that motivate my students to study and
one of them is through internet. However, working in a group was not easy
since we have different business and couldn’t meet every time. Nevertheless, I
have some interesting things. Because our class is in computer lab that has
internet connection, I can use extra time (if there is any) to check my mail
and friendsterJ. However, the connection was slow and
sometimes I couldn’t open some websites. So, I prefer to concentrate on the
lesson. Another interesting thing is Hanggi –my friend
in my group- gave birth when the day for final project presentation was
close. We were afraid if she couldn’t come for the presentation. But, thank
God, she came!! In brief, I really
enjoy this class although the tasks made me frustrated sometimesJ. I believe that what I have got in CALL
class will be very useful. I thank to Mrs. Neny for
always guiding me and other students during this trimester. |
