Thank for your deciding to donate to
Online Islamic Library. May Allah reward you for this gift of knowledge.
There are five simple steps to follow:
Step 1:
Decide on the book, CD or tape that you will be donating. All items must be in good condition and
on mainstream Islamic topics only (the site wants to encourage Muslim unity).
Step 2:
You will have to fill in the online form for each item you donate. When doing this it is helpful to have the book/CD with you so that you can copy any relevant details that are asked for.
Step 3:
Once the form has been sent, and if you have stated that you can scan the cover of the item, then please do that and e-mail it as an attachment,
clearly labelled to the Librarian's e-mail address. The Librarian will not open suspicious looking attachments.
Step 4:
Now simply wait for your item to be listed on the site.
Step 5:
When your item is ordered the Librarian will contact you with the details of where to post the item to.
Please read before donating:
- We are only asking for good quality books, tapes and CDs on Islam.
- As these are used items we are expecting a little wear and tear. However, please don't send items that are in very bad condition
- Payment: You will not receive any payment, and will need to cover the postage and packaging costs.
- Delivery: Donators can specify which country they are able to send the item to, thereby keeping their own costs down.
- Postage and Packaging: You are asked to package your items in a clean, unused envelope. Where neccessary (particularly with tapes), please wrap the item in bubblewrap or other cushioning material. When your item is sold, you will be asked to include this printout inside the package.
