The aims of the Online Islamic Library

  1. To provide free Islamic books and tapes for those who do not have access to such material, perhaps cannot afford it and are interested in learning.
  2. To share Islam with those who are interested in the religion.
  3. To encourage people to read and learn about Islam.
  4. To value used, unwanted books and tapes, and to put them to good use.

How does it work?

  • We are able to provide free resources due to the generosity of donators. Donators send their quality used books around the globe to those who order them from the site.

  • Donators are required to cover postage and packaging costs. Click here for more information.

  • Borrowing books is free. We send books out free of charge but all books must be sent on to the next library user (unless the borrower can not cover the postage and packaging costs).

  • We value our books. We work on trust and therefore expect that the books we lend out stay in our system. More library users can then benefit from a gift of knowledge.
