This page covers birdhouse gords. Birdhouse gords are just as they sound...birdhouses. Theres one catch you have to grow them first and process them, the finished product is well worth the work. My gords aren't all birdhouses. As you have seen in prior pages, I tend to change the trend a bit. These gords are some of my daughters artistic design. With her talents together with mine these are what we came up with. Hope you enjoy.
Aove: This is what the gords look like when starting out. After being grown they are dried out, once dried they are sanded down and scrubbed up.Below are some of our creativity and imagination at work.
Frosty was my first project. When picking out the gords this one was decided on the second I saw it. There was no doubt what it would be. Mrs. Clause was the second project. She was a bit more challenging but then thats when we're at our best. The black top hat added on gave her a more school marm look and is detachable.
This is one of Lynn-Ann's designs. Being artistic is one of her many talents.
I was lookin through my Gourny seed cataglog one day and came across the birdhouse seed packs. The picture showed this halloween ghost I just happened to have a gord of simular size and design so I have to give a bit of credit to the magazine for this idea.
Our neighbors who visit frequently always give me new ideas. Dave being the outdoorsman that he is suggested a hotair balloon. So here it is
This is another idea from a good friend. Andy suggested an Alien. Find the right gourd and there you have it. Imagination unlimited
