Dern this Boston weather! The temperature yesterday was 92 degrees! 92!!!!! Can you believe that? I never felt weather like this before in Hawaii! It was crazy man and I don't have any of my "Hawaii" clothes so I was dern hot. Then today was 52 degrees. Stinking weather. I have a sore throat now. Eck.
My highlight for today: talking to the cute guy I studied with. For some reason I was late to class...I don't even know what I was doing but I only had 10 minutes to get ready. I move slow. haha. No, but anyways the teacher starts late. So as I came in, I sat behind Gui (cute guy's name, see yesterday for more!). A few minutes later he asked me how I did on the test yesterday. We talked a bit than class started. :)
Class was junk and it ended. I still had Gui's book from yesterday so here's how it goes:
Gui: Did you bring my book?
me: No, I lost it.
Gui: You lost it?!?!
me: No, I have it right here.
GuI: hehe. Okay thanks. See you later.
What's going to be my next move? I don't know. Of course you can never really expect much from...not guys but this situation I guess. Oh no getting into my insight on this but i'll hold out. ;) |

This girl in my class asked me to meet her this morning because she had missed previous classes and we had a big test today. So we met at 10:00 am at *gasp* the library! hehe. We started to study but she knew and I knew we were both going to fail miserably! So we just laughed and studied. Oh my we're crazy! This girl is really nice though. Her name is Zimmraut (if I even spelled that right but it is pronounced zoomroot) and she is from Turkey.
We were studying on the 2nd floor of the library (I was lost on time) when I see this guy from my class walk by. Okay this guy, is hela fine!!!!!!! I don't like him as much as Ryan because quarter just started and this other guy has only been in my class for 3 weeks or so. I know he's in the same class as Zimmraut and me but different time so I knew he was studying for the test. I'm sure he saw me and he sat kind of near us in the single cubicle desk things. lalala. Don't really know him so didn't really think too much about him.
Then it came to me, 'why don't i just ask him to study with us?' Okay Amanda talk to a cute guy in my class I didn't even know. Oh okay he's in my economics class. He briefly moved from the cubicle thing to computers right across where we were studying. I was like 'oh my gosh should I just ask him???' Of course I did! As Zimmraut was quietly studying, I said i'd be right back. And I walked over to (his name is Gui...i'll explain later) and I was like "Hi! Gui?" Oh he's so cute!!!!! And he's like 'hi.' haha. Okay and than I was like you're in blah, blah class, did you take the test yet and he didn't. So I was like 'oh my friend and I are studying for it right now, would you like to join us?' Can you believe I said that????? And he said okay. :D He got his books and sat right next to me baybee!!!
So we studied and talked and stuff. Mostly studied of course. It was really cool. Somewhere in the conversation he asked where we were from. He looked at me and I said Hawaii and than Zimmraut said Turkey. And I asked him where he was from. Brazil. Then he pointed to his shirt and was like 'see!' :D What a cutie!!!! Yeah like hello why would I be staring at your chest!!?!?! Woooo! His class was at 11:45...I don't even know what time he came over...but I think he was there for a little over an hour. He had to go and he said we could borrow his book 'cause retarded us didn't bring it. :D So guess whose book I have???? It's sitting on my floor right now. *sigh* hahahaha.
Okay and so he left and halfly important this other girl from my class came to the 2nd floor (I don't know why everybody was here!) and sat where *sigh* Gui sat. This girl is from Indonesia. Cool yeah? All these foreigners? Cool, cool. New guy for me: Gui. He's soooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay brief description: black-not straight hair, about 5' 7," 5' 8," has a hint of freckles, and he has this really nice smile. Oh man! I'm sure he looks like somebody else...maybe I try find a picture. ;) *sigh!!!!!*

Oh my gosh!!!!! :) hehe. Okay so I was on my way to history class and I was already about 5 minutes late so I was in this rushed state. I walk into the school building and I saw this cute guy by the elevator at the distance. So I was like 'hey why don't I just pass him by' and as I was rounding the corner, someone in front of me started talking.
I was taken by surprise and it took me awhile to realize who I was talking to. It was my dream guy Ryan! So me (still in my rushed, crazy mood) was like "hey!" Of course I don't remember the EXACT words because he's just so cute and the world just dissolves around me...hahaha whoa! Okay so back to what I remember from the convo, Ryan was like 'you have class now?' And i'm like 'yeah...' and then he says 'history class.' And i'm like 'yeah and i'm late!' And I scurry off. Then I saw him walk upstairs so i'm guessing he had a class. But what i'm wondering is how did he know I had history now??? O o o. ;) heeheehee! :D
Since I only see Ryan once a week, it hit me today on how and why I liked him. I mean compared to last quarter where I would see him every single day because we had all 4 classes together (!!!!!!!!!!!), now, for me, it just goes to show that 'out of sight, out of mind' does not apply to me. When I saw Ryan, I felt myself beaming from ear to ear. I mean just his presence made me smile and I couldn't stop smiling during or after just seeing him. That's how I know I like him...

Urrr. So tired again today. Got a baaaad stomachache. I woke up late today and now I just woke up from a nap! Oh my what is wrong with me??? So during the 2 hour nap or so (I don't even remember!) I had a series of 3 dreams...or nightmares. It was all applying to my life now. I don't know that was pretty weird. A bit unsettling i'd say. Really tired...

So i'm tired right now. I sleep for so long on the weekends. Ugggh. Friends are eager to go home and they should be because they're going to be home like a month before I get back. That's junk man. I want to go home already. My mind is completely starting to shut off! *yawn* I guess i'll just be relaxin' this weekend and not doing any homework as usual. Oooh that's bad. Help!

I've had a pretty weird day today. Tuesdays are always weird for me. Garfield hates Mondays, I hate Tuesdays. So I have all 5 classes today starting at 8. I was soo dern tired this morning. I could not get up for the life of me. So I slept through the first class and said to myself, "okay one more hour. I'll get up for my next class." My alarm clock goes off...I really couldn't move. I was debating than I said, "okay just 1 more minute...okay 2 more minutes...okay 10 more minutes..." Well, you know how it goes. Missed that class. I'm very, very bad!!!! So now I said i'm definitely going to my 3rd class and I did.
The weather today was crazy! It was 70 degrees and it was sooo hot! Here's what I wore today (and this is important as I will discuss below :) a grey Guess shirt that said Hawaii in small print, my favorite DKNY jeans, and a black sweater tied around my waist. I don't have any of my Hawaii clothes so that's all I could put together for this weather. Okay. I was walking to my class and these 2 guys passed me and one guy said "Niiice." Yes, he was talking about me. Although I didn't realize 'till a little later. Okaaaaay.
Class was done, walked back to my dorm. I was walking by the main street and this car honked-honked and these 2 dudes were you know making dog like noises to me. I mean dog in a good way. They liked the way I looked. Sorry but this does not really happen to me???? And plus I didn't think I looked particularly good today nor did I do anything different. And hello didn't I just describe what I was wearing??
Okay. Goo Goo Dolls new cd came out so I wanted to get that after classes. Headed out about 5. Of course I *had* to go on rush hour in the subway! What would usually take 20 minutes took almost an hour! Oh and plus I got lost but anyways. While I was waiting in the subway station, this guy (who was with his friends I think) just passed me on the way to get into a subway car and looked into my face 'cause I was looking somewhere else and said to me, "You look fabulous." Again I never hear this so i'm like 'eh?' And than I look at him and i'm like "Okay...thanks?" (Amanda does not take good to compliments especially this one!) Wasn't that weird????? Too bad the guy was ugly! He must've been late 20s. Although all guys look older than what they really are so now i'm guessing he was mid 20s.
So my thought for today: What da freck???????? Why all these compliments now? Search me. Although it was pretty nice. I am completely lost!?!?! I gotta think about this to utilize for the future. :) |
