The Salt Shaker Vanish
The
Effect-
A salt shaker vanishes
through a table.
Materials-
A table, a napkin, a coin
and a small salt shaker
Performance-
You ask some one if you
could borrow a coin. Then you wrap the salt shaker in a napkin making it so
that the napkin makes a mold of the salt shaker. Then you place the quarter on
the heads side and say " The quarter is on the heads side, magically I am
going to make it turn to tails using this salt shaker. So then you cover the
quarter and say the magic word. Then you uncover the quarter and bring
the salt shaker to your stomach. Then you drop the salt shaker onto your lap.
The spectator won't notice it because the napkin still has the mold of the
salt shaker. Then you say "Let me try one more time". So you cover up the coin
and then say " O wait a minute, I know why its not working, That a whole
different trick, this trick is to make the salt shaker vanish" With saying
that slam your hand on the napkin because the saltshaker wont be there.

Pen Vanish
The Effect-
You attempt to
vanish a coin but end up vanishing a pen instead.
Materials-
A pen/marker, a
coin, or paper, etc.
Performance-
Make sure the
audience is watching you on your left side. Take a coin or piece of paper and
place it in your hand. Now take your pen and do a back and forth motion saying
"1.....2......3!" And when you do this motion, tap the coin and bring the pen
towards your ear. And on 3, place it quickly wedged in between your ear and
your head. (This will not be seen by the audience, because you were tapping
the pen with your right hand) And say "Sorry about that, I always vanish the
wrong things".
Tip:
This trick goes good as a follow-up of the salt shaker vanish because they are
mistake vanishes. And the audience gets a kick out of it and little kids love
it. Plus the audience gets to see a funny side in you.
