The Four Burglars
The Effect - Four Jacks are placed in all different areas in the deck, Magically they all Jump to the top. Setup- The secret is that you show four jacks, but behind the jacks are four different cards Performance- You Have four jacks shown with four other cards in the back of them and you square them up, and place the 8 cards on the top of the deck. Then you take the first card and stick it in, repeat this. When you have put all the different cards in, you snap your fingers and they are magically on the top _____________________________________________________ Elevator Card The Effect- A card for example the Ace of Heats is shown. It is stuck in the middle of the deck, When you snap your fingers it jumps to the top Setup- This trick is impromptu Performance- This trick uses the method of the Double Lift. Once you get into the double lift position. You show the card with the other card behind it (not visible), Then when you have shown it, just drop it face down dropping the card that they saw and pick up the not visible card and stick it in the deck, and it should be on the top. ____________________________________________________________ Lonely Card The Effect- The Spectator's chosen card is stuck in the middle and is the only card turned over. Setup- Turn bottom card face up. So that you are holding a face down pack but if you turn the pack over secretly, it will look like it is still face down. Performance- Have a spectator choose a card, but do not let them see the bottom card turned face up. When they choose one and they're looking at it secretly turn over the deck. Then they place the card in the middle. Now turn over the deck secretly in a cover move (e.g. Clap the deck while turning it over). Now say that "My magically powers has turned over your card". Now spread through the deck face down and the only card turned face up will be theirs. Remember to conceal the bottom card. Home
