if you don't hate, you will get far.
if you don't drive, you don't need a car.
don't dance, if you don't know the move.
don't sing, if you don't have the groove.
you can't advance unless you know the man.
just act, if you already have a plan.
don't die, won't miss the end.
try not to blink or you'll miss the bend.
don't marry, if you can't handle a wife.

nothingness, a shade of grey.
what shall i do today?
i will watch the grass grow
and listen to the ants play.
ask the whales what they know
and mold a man out of clay.
change the oceans flow
and roll around in the hay.
illuminate with a golden glow
and make some sinners pay.
no...i know what is best,
it's the sabbath,
i'll just sit around and rest. |
