i watch you tossing from a shadowed doorway.
hand by face, a silent moan, a dream forever hidden upon awaking.
drinking to quench a thirst, but never slaking.
i long to be the direction of your dreams and
wait for you at your journey's end.
i watch your breathing, from close by. i hear your heartbeat,
i feel your heat. i lay by your side pulling close to your slumbering outline
hoping that the smile on your face is of my design.

i watch you sleeping and wonder how your dreams progress.
a smile, silent laugh, a dream flowing towards a raging river.

listening and glistening stereophonic intrusion.
the master of delusions
is spouting verbal contusions
to stop and drop our hero.
a stalking and balking topical illusion.
twirling and swirling our mighty hero of chronic's effusion.
his faster fall in confusion.
his pouting herbal muse: one.
his dazed and fazed mind: zero.
some hawking and gawking as his society brinks.
twisting and listing our hero is not all that he thinks.
morals rush away through chinks
in armor and downward he sinks.
is he a modern day nero?
blocking and locking society now hides from you.
insisting and misting, a darkened heart seething blue with the
will to crush the enlightened few.
his silent encored muse: two.

i creep around them as silently as a mouse.
she is preparing a list of things for me to do.
i am avoiding this list of things for me to do.
save a restless dream, life is it not what it seems.
am i what she needs even if i can't read.
i am living in a world that mirrors the one she walks.
i am speaking languages that mock the one she talks.
save a restless dream, love is not what it seems.
will her fire burn even if i never learn.
she lives her love and gives to me my equal shares.
she gives her life and loves to show how much she cares.

will she ever know, my love's that hard to show. |
