1. SISTERHOOD
The girls you meet through Omega will become your lifelong friends. They'll be the ones beside you when you get married, get promoted, and have children Not only will you have a whole pledge class to meet, you'll be given a big sister to serve as your mentor throughout your new member education process. Approximately 13,000 undergrads make Kean University a pretty large campus. Joining Omega will immediately give you a single sex support system on a big, co-ed campus. Omega can become your place to feel comfortable amidst the pressures of adjusting to college. Shrink Kean University campus to half it's size and start to recognize all those people you pass in the quad.

2. LEADERSHIP
Joining Omega is a great opportunity to explore your leadership potential. Unlike most sororities, Omega holds elections in the Spring so you could even take on a position immediately after being initiated! There are plenty of chances to become involved, either in a leadership role or just as a participant, in philanthropy skits, educational seminars, or even lending a hand planning the next party. Whether you can lend your artistic skills to our homecoming banner or your skills as an athlete to our Greek Olympics team, Omega needs you!

3. SCHOLARSHIP
Omegas have always had a strong committment to academics; we rank in the top five for sorority GPA's virtually every year, many times taking second place. Lots of potential new members worry that their academics will suffer while pledging, but the Omega new member training process encourages taking time out for academic work, making it easy to keep up academically. In fact, most girls attest that their grades actually went up while pledging Omega. It's all about time management. Making the commitment to pledge Omega can teach you that important skill while helping you long the way.

4. ALUMNI
Omega is extremely strong, both on our campus and beyond. Omega has over 100 active alumni and around 600 all together. That means when you graduate there will be alot of well-placed women, eager to help a fellow Omega, whether it be with an important contact, a job interview, or a new friend in a foreign city.

5. SOCIAL
"Cause girls just wanna have fun!" Join Omega and you'll never have to be bored on a Saturday night. Actually, make that any night. The girls who live in the house are always asking new intiated members to come over to get ready together for the night or to go out to dinner. We have all-sister events like spa parties, date parties, fraternity mixers with fun themes like Toga or Sports, a formal in the Spring, and even movie nights when you just want to chill out with your sisters. There's something for everyone and no pressure involved when it comes to partying it up Omega style.
