Geography

Japan is a country with over three thousand islands.The main islands are Hokkaido,Honshu.Shikoku,and Kyushu

About 70% to 80% of the country is forested,mountanious.Japan is unsuitable for agricultural,industrial,or resdential

use.Because of steep elevations lanslides and earthquakes.This has resulted to have the population in the coastlines.

Its location is in the Pacific Ring Of Fire .Destuctive earthquakes,often result to tsunamis,occur each century.Climate

in Japan varies from tropical in south to cool temperate in north.The natural resources are mineral and fish.The natural

hazards are active volcanoes,tsunamis and typhoons.
