David's Letter:  To His Family,
With Love

Mom, I  am safe in the arms of Jesus,
How much happier can I be
No more pain, no more needles,
                I am set free.
Mom, I play with the angels now,
The dolphins swim by my side.
          The owls hoot in mystery,
               Taking things in stride.
I am one with the Universe, Mom,
What an awesome place to be.

         The love that surrounds me,
               Fulfills me endlessly.
I want to take this time to Thank you, Mom,
I know you did your best.
The movies, stories, cool things we did,
               Your kindness and tenderness.
         Auntie Ellen, Kim, Uncle David,
              Grandma and Grandpa Reid too,
You always popped in to see me,
              And gave me kisses too.
Thank you for holding my hand,
Sometimes I felt kind of scared.

I am healthy now, running like the wind.
Mookie and I play, as happy as can be.
I know all of you miss me,
But I am always here for you.
I see the tears and heartache,
Because I am not with you.
Always know I am with you,
             Tucked away inside your heart,
        Because of the Happy Memories,
               We shall never be apart.

Written with love,  from Mom (Karen Reid2000)

How can one thank those who have done so much. In sincere appreciation, I would like to thank Rosemarie in setting up David'sweb page. The graphics and creativity are wonderful. To say how much this tribute means to me is impossible, in sending theletters and information, each was sent with lots of tears. Thank you for your dedication and patience, Rosemarie.
Special thanks goes also to each of David's special friends who contributed their letters for the web page.  Kaye Des'Ormeaux's
poem truly states .....the feeling of loss, thank you for allowing me to use your poem.
