After I received the car back from my mechanic, I drove the car directly
to the body shop to get the bodywork and the paint job done. Here are some
photos of the body-restoration process.
First, all the paint was stripped off the car
to bare Fiberglass. They left the hardtop on not to get the interior
dusty and then stripped the deck separately.

After they the whole car was stripped down to fiberglass - the bodywork
was done. After the bodywork was finished - the gel coat was added.
