Our Activities

Datuk Song Thian Eng Foundation

An education fund known as Datuk Song Thian Eng Foundation was established with the objectives:

• to grant scholarships, bursaries, student loans and incentive awards out of the Fund to deserving pupils of St Thomas's School and in general to pursue their education in local institutions of higher learning within Kuching

• to grant and arrange for awards by other bodies of scholarship or other educational assistance for the pupils of St Thomas's School

• to set up and raise fund and make appropriate investments for the Fund including the formation of limited companies

150th Anniversary Monument

A very specially design monument was constructed in front of the Main Building of the school to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of St Thomas's School.

St Thomas's School Museum

A School Museum was set up at the top floor of the Main Building with various materials contributed by old Thomians as well as some photographs showing the various activities of the school and the famous sons of St Thomas's School.

Competitions for OTA's flag and 150th Anniversary logo

Competitions for the design of the OTA's flags as well as the 150th Anniversary logo amongst the students of St Thomas' were successfully organized. All the prizes were sponsored by the President of OTA.
