I find history very fascinating. I often wonder wonder what it would be like to be at different times in history. To be one of the men in Alaxander the Great's Army when he conquered his empire. Sitting with Abraham Lincoln on the train on the way to Gettysburg.

Many people say history is boring. When you get down to the details of history, deeper then the names and dates, history is very interesting. I enjoy studing different events and people in history. I can spend hours at a time researching history. Two of my favorite hobbies, coin collecting and genealogy, deal with history. When I travel I love to visit historical places where I am going. The picture to the left is a picture from one of my trips.

I enjoy watching movies and TV shows that deal with histoicals events, people or places. I am working on a list of history TV shows. History Channel and PBS are to great networks for history shows.
