The membership of the club increased tremendously at the beginning of the year, but due to the restricted membership for ease of training and flying, only thirty members were retained.

There was an increase in activity with meetings being held every Wednesday. Members were taught how to start and adjust R/C and controlling-model engines as well as how to repair maintain balsa wood and plastic model planes.

Regular visits to the flying ground in Shah Alam were held on Sundays. This was to enable the members to learn how to fly R/C planes. The members of the Kelab Modelkraft R/C Selangor were very patient with, and helpful to us as they gave us a lot of advice and
instructions on construction and flying techniques of R/C models.

The construction of an R/C Hoovercraft was started in May but due to the scarcity of balsa wood, the model has not left the workbenches yet. Film shows on flight and the principles of flight were shown to enlighten the new members.

At the beginning of the year the clubroom had to be changed due to the reoccupation of the former D Company. However we were given a better room with a larger space on the second floor of the New Science Block.

In conclusion, the club has been very active and has carried out most of its planned activities. However, the visit to the RMAF base in Sungai Besi and to the Selangor Flying Club had to be cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances.
