I found that raising the mast could be tough even with some help, and so I built a system from galvanized pipe and some pretty simple hardware. |

The first rigging change I made was running the main halyard to the cockpit. Remember the opening page showed the boat looking OK from a distance? Here it is close up. The hatch guides were so bad at first, that I got splinters every time I touched them. This meant that they were the first things to be altered looks-wise. The original Non-skid had been painted (poorly) with more nonskid paint and looks awful. |
