About our Cakes
        At Olde Towne Bakery we use the finest ingredients to make our
cakes, fillings and icings. All the mixing, baking and decorating is done on
site by our staff. The White Sponge Cake is made from scratch using whole eggs
and butter. Our Butter Cr�me Icing is made from scratch with real butter and
it is the base for most of our fillings and flavoured icings. Ingredients
we use comes from places as far away as Sweden, Germany and Holland.
Decorating is done by our trained staff who do their best to ensure your
satisfaction.

Need to know �How much Cake?�

- it all depends on how big you cut the pieces. Below is a table to
give an idea of what size you may need to order.

Fresh Reminders
Our cakes stay the freshest if kept in the refrigerator
For optimal enjoyment of our cakes we suggest removing the cake from the
fridge roughly one hour before serving so that the icing softens and the
natural flavors are allowed to mature.
To keep cakes for a longer period of time, we suggest freezing
No Preservatives are added to any of our cake products so given the right
environment, products will spoil.
Please order cakes at least one working day in advance, some cakes require
more than a days notice so please order as early as possible to avoid any
inconvenience.
We reserve the right to limit quantities and selection of all �Same Day�
orders.


Cake Varieties

9 inch Angel Food Cake
A dairy free cake (unless you take our suggestion and cover the cake with fresh fruit and whipping cream).

Black Forest Cake
A three layer Chocolate Sponge Cake made the traditional way with real
Whipping Cream, Kirsch, and Cherry Pie Filling. A sure favorite!!



French Pasteries

Single serving cake pastries that are sure pleasers to dinner guests.
Choose from a wide variety that is available from our display case.

The varieties includes:
Carrot Cake Squares, Chocolate Cake Slices, Chocolate Cherry Cake Slices, Dark
Chocolate Ganache Slices, Hazelnut Cake Slices, Hazelnut Swiss Rolls, Grand
Marnier Swiss Rolls, Marzipan Fingers, Mocha Cake Slices, White Chocolate
Ganache Slices, more in store. .


Cupcakes

Available in either Vanilla or Chocolate flavor. Clowns or Flowers are the
norm but decorations will change with the seasons. Special orders welcome!


Petite Tours
Available in either Vanilla or Chocolate Flavor. These tasty little
delights are perfect for those times when only a bite is more than enough.
We make them right here with a variety of Icings and Glazes. Choose from our
display showcase or pre-order your desires by phone or in person.

Diplomat Cake
An elegant traditional white cake. This cake has many alternating layers;
2 layers of White Sponge Cake, 2 layers Puff Pastry, 2 layers Bavarian Cr�me
and one middle layer of Pastry Cr�me that has a rum flavouring.


Ganache Cake

Dark Chocolate Ganache

Cakes have 3 layers of Chocolate Sponge Cake,
Chocolate Butter Cr�me Icing in between the layers and the outside is covered
with a coating of melted Dark Chocolate.

White Chocolate Ganache
Cakes have 3 layers of White Sponge Cake, a layer of
Pastry Cr�me, Raspberry Jam and Butter Cr�me Icing while the outside of the
cake is covered with melted White Chocolate.


Loaf Cakes
Each loaf cake has three layers of either White or Chocolate Cake and is 3
inches by 8 inches in size. Each layer is separated with the appropriate
filling.

The variety includes:

Chocolate Cherry Loaf Cakes, Chocolate Loaf Cakes, Hazelnut Loaf Cakes, Lemon
Loaf Cakes, and Mocha Loaf Cakes.



Traditional Chocolate Cake
A very popular moist cake that can be done up in many different ways. We
start with three layers of chocolate sponge cake, Chocolate Butter Cr�me Icing
and Pastry Cr�me between them. Then we decorate to order. Your choice of
Mixed Nuts, Chocolate Sprinkles or Colored Sprinkles on the sides. Your choice
of Roses or Balloons are added to finish off the top.


Traditional White Cake
Our most popular cake that can be done up in many different ways. We start
with three layers of White Sponge Cake, put Butter Cr�me Icing and Pastry
Cr�me between them. Then we decorate to order. Your choice of Mixed Nuts,
Chocolate Sprinkles or Colored Sprinkles on the sides. Your choice of Roses or
Balloons are added to finish off the top.


Theme Cakes
We also do a wide variety of cakes that go with a certain idea you might
have for your party. See our display wall for samples of our work.


�Wedding Cakes�

Please ask a sales associate for our Wedding Cake Book to view the
Wedding Cakes that we offer. Pictures are added regularly of cakes
currently done to show what we are capable of.

We will always endeavor to make your Cake just the way you desire.
You choose the type of cake, your favorite fillings, the colors
and design that you desire, the date you would like to have it
made by and then leave the rest to us.
The cake will be placed in a box appropriate to its size ready for pick up.
(please place orders for wedding cakes at least one month in advance,
as the number of Wedding Cakes that we can do per day is limited.
So order early to ensure your cake can be done.
