Tuckwell's collection
          A portion of W.N. Crowder's
former aerated water factory still exists (2001)

This old building is the only remaining part of a larger complex built c1849 by Alexander Malcolm, a carrara water manufacturer.

William Crowder purchased the site in the early 1850s and remained there until selling to Charles Downer and John Henderson in 1880.

There are two deep wells in the basement of this building filled with old machinery, bottles, etc.

The site in Franklin St, Adelaide, is owned and occupied by the Advertiser Newspaper.
