Formerly known as the Australian Arms, Auction Mart Tavern, Royal Exchange, and finally the Exchange Hotel. Licensed from 1839 until 1960.
Together with the corner building, the Exhange was demolished in 1967 to make way for the multi-storey Hooker Building.
The Ware family (owners of the Torrenside Brewery) were owners from 1868 until 1924. |
