A portion of the
extremely rare
Horn family collection
Charles Bruce Flint trained in Great Britian as a chemist prior to coming to the colony of South Australia around the mid 1880s.

Soon after arriving Flint opened a pharmacy in Mount Gambier in the south-east region of the colony.

He remained there until purchasing the pharmacy of Cyril Stubbs of Semaphore Road, Semaphore (near Adelaide) in February 1907.
Flint was then aged 59 years, and continued in business at Semaphore until selling in July 1919. He then took up manufacturing - his well known (Flints Medicated Oil), from premises in Chesser Street, off Grenfell St, Adelaide.

This extremely rare - if not one-only lid was used between 1907 to 1919.
