READ THIS:
I REALLY HATE NARROW-MINDED PEOPLE

I really do hate narrow-minded people.  These people seem to think that they have all the answers for the rest of us.  You know the type?  THEY have to be right.  YOU can never go freely your own way because it might conflict with what THEY say YOU MUST do!

Of course you know the type!  "Drive on the right side of the road!"  "Turn your lights on at night!"  "Obey the traffic signals!"  They're probably the ones who put those signals there in the first place!

Where do they get off telling ME how to act and what to do?  After all I am a free moral person; I'm just as good as they are.  So what if my individual conscience tells me something else?  My way can be just as valid as their way!

The worst of these type people work at the place where I bought my last car.  Would you believe that they had the gall to write down their demands in a book.  Real free type of people here!  They had the nerve to call it an "Owner's Manual."  Well, I gave them real money for that car and it does not belong to them or their book; it's mine!

You would not believe some of the things they try to tell me to do!  They try to tell me when to put in oil, when to grease the car, how much air to put in the tires, and on, and on, and on, and...  They even tried to tell me what type of fuel to put in the car.  Like they know better than me what works for MY car!

THEN, as if their demands are not enough of a power-trip, they threaten me!  I'm serious, here!  The threaten me; at least they try.  They say that if I don't follow their narrow little rules that my warranty will not be honored.  Well, excuse me, but I believe that the manufacturer wants my business again sometime.  He'll honor that little warranty he promised no matter what the people at the car dealer - or their little book - have to say!

After all, they may be the high and mighty DEALERSHIP, but they do not have a monopoly on telephones.  I can call the car company as easily as they can.  That car company will take a call from anyone and they will talk to me.  When I explain that it is my car, it doesn't belong to the people at that dealership, they will be more than happy to honor that warranty.

Just like those church people, right?  I mean they try all the same stuff.  Really; they got a book and all, just like the car people.  Listen to what they try to tell me:  "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life; and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.  (John 3:36)"  Pretty narrow-minded thing to tell me, isn't it!

Well, I got my own belief system and it don't agree with those people any more than I agree with the car people.  I'll get into Heaven and take care of myself on the way there!

I got to go now.  Here comes the tow-truck to take this bucket of trash I bought a couple of months ago in for some warranty work!  No; I didn't make an appointment.  So what?  They'll take it now and fix it free.  So I didn't follow their little book.  So what!

See you in Heaven.  Who needs that little Book or it's instructions!
If people were really consistent in all their outlooks.
